User Tasks
- Add payments
- From the Home screen click the plus sign (+)
- When prompted, take a picture of the check front. If the image is accurate click the green checkmark.
- Take a picture of the back side of the check. If the check picture is correct, click the green checkmark.
- When the Review screen appears, make sure the information (e.g., amounts) and images match. Then click the green checkmark.
If the images or data is incorrect, click the "X" in the upper right corner of the screen to remove the payment. Then repeat steps 1 to 4.
- Forgot password
- From the Login screen type your email address in the Email field on the Login screen then click the Forgot password link.
- Click the reset password link in the Mobile Deposit Capture email in your Inbox.
- When prompted, type a new password. in the respective field. It must contain 8 to 20 characters, and at least one capital letter, number, and special character.
- Press Enter.
- Log in
- From the Login screen type your login credentials in the respective fields of the Check Connect Login page,
- Click Sign In
- Log out
- Click the icon on the page.
- Payment fails to upload
- From the Home screen click the upload icon.
- Wait a few seconds. If the upload is
- Successful: A green check mark appears to the right of the uploaded payment.
- Unsuccessful: The message “Failed Upload” appears to the right of the payment.
- If the upload does not occur, delete the payment using the steps in “Remove Payments” and then add it again using the steps in “Add Payments.”
- Remove payment
- From the Home screen click the red trash can to the right of the payment to be removed
- When prompted, click Delete to remove the payment or click Cancel to end the action.
- Rotate screen
- Physically turn smart phone to a horizontal position. The screen automatically adjusts.
- Time out
- If you do not log in or if there is no action after a specified amount of time the timeout warning “Need more time?” displays. Click Yes to keep working or Logout to exit the application.
- Use incorrect email address
- From the Login screen, verify the email address and its format.
- Try again to log in. If the address still does not work, contact Billtrust.
