Declined credit card payment appears on a customer's statement

Declined credit-card payments are still pending authorization from the bank that issued the card. While our system shows a decline along with the merchant gateway, the customer's statement shows the transaction as pending. This does not mean the card was charged. The pending transaction will disappear within 1 to 2 business days.
