How do I fix a “403 Permission Forbidden” error?

Users encounter this error when they lack a role and/or group (division). To correct the error:

  1. Go to Settings > Users.

  2. Select Filters, then search for the user by name or email address. 

  3. Select Edit User, represented by a pencil icon.

  4. Under Application Role Settings, assign roles and permissions on an app-by-app basis.

  5. Select Save.

Next, check if “Group” is assigned to the User.

  1. Go to Settings > System > Credit > More Settings.

  2. In the Groups pane, select Assign Users to Groups.

  3. Select the user and then select Edit.

  4. Select the checkbox of each applicable group and/or division.

  5. Select Done.

Note: For changes to take effect, users must log out and log back in or refresh their sessions.
