How does Billtrust comply with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)?

Under GDPR, anyone who shares the personal data of individuals in the European Union (EU) is classified as a data controller. That includes several Billtrust customers.

If you qualify as a data controller under GDPR, you must have a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) in place with any vendors that process personal data on your behalf. Billtrust, a data processor, requires all current customers to sign our DPA to process personal data for individuals within the EU. The DPA is an agreement that ensures personal information is properly managed and secured.
