Address reports

Uncertified addresses

When mailing your bills, we CASS certify your addresses so they can qualify for postage discounts. If your addresses can't be certified, they are probably missing key information or contain typographical errors. This report will give you those addresses that don't certify and thus are expensive to mail. The report is sorted by the total # of invoices/statements sent to the uncertified address for the time period specified.

NCOA addresses

The National Change of Address (NCOA) Database is a list, maintained by the US Postal Service (USPS), of all "address changes" on file by mail recipients in the US. Billtrust validates addresses against the NCOA database to determine if a mail recipient has moved.

This report contains a list of addresses where there are differences between what you supplied to Billtrust and what is contained within the NCOA database. This typically means that the mail recipient has moved. In rare cases, the new address listed is not accurate. To correct errors with your customer addresses, contact the USPS NCOA group at 800- 238-3150.
