Create dynamic reports

Dynamic reports let you analyse collection metrics and create custom KPIs. Reports are automatically refreshed daily, ensuring your team always works from the latest data.

Steps

  1. In Collections, select Reports from the top navigation menu.
  2. Select New report.
  3. Select the data type you want to work with - see Available Data Types below for descriptions of each option.
  4. Give the report an informative name.
  5. Select the columns you want to include:
    • Drag columns from Available columns to the Selected columns frame. Remove columns by dragging them outside the frame.
    • Use the Data category dropdown to browse other columns in the selected dataset.
    • Select Advanced column to create custom KPIs. See Use Advanced Columns in Dynamic Reports.
    • Use the Shift key to select several columns at once.
  6. (Optional) Customise the report layout:
    • To rename a column, hover over it and select the pencil icon. Revise the name and select Save.
    • To change the order of a column, hover over it and drag it to a new position.
    • To hide a column, hover over it and select the eye icon. Hidden columns are dimmed in the Selected columns frame. Hidden columns can still be used when creating complex filters.
  7. (Optional) Add complex filters to your report. See Add Complex Filters to Dynamic Reports.
  8. Select Save report.
    • Tip: Select Show example at any time to run a test report and verify its outputs before saving.
